Fox Silver announces the opening of a special retrospective exhibition at the Goldsmiths’ Company in London to celebrate the work of Fox Silver.
This exhibition is a rare opportunity to see the work of Fox Silver, revealing Serena and Richard Fox’s collaborative partnership over the last 40 years. It includes iconic pieces, from F1® trophies to Goldsmiths’ Company commissions, pieces from private collections, Downing Street, Bulgari, Lambeth Palace and a collection of fine jewellery.
Richard and Serena Fox’s shared passion for contemporary design, exquisite craftsmanship and an endless fascination with precious metals has always served as a constant source of inspiration, driving them to craft objects that commemorate every facet of celebration. Their work spans Formula 1® trophies, items for Number 10 Downing Street, Lambeth Palace, Bulgari, the Vatican and bespoke fine jewellery collections. Pieces on display include the FIA Formula 1® World Championship Constructors’ trophy, the FIA Formula 1® First Place Driver Trophy for Abu Dhabi and the FIA Formula 1® World Championship Drivers’ trophy.
Visitors will have a chance to see a new short documentary that charts the journey of the Abu Dhabi 2023 Grand Prix trophy from workshop to podium and get a behind the scenes glimpse of a busy manufacturing workshop.
